Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 28, 2026
Effective date: July 28, 2026 · Version: v2
This Privacy Policy explains how Trizbit Private Limited ("PerksClub", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in India, handles personal data about you — a person who uses PerksClub to discover, save, and redeem perks, rewards, and offers from businesses. We serve people worldwide, and this policy is written to a global standard.
Your data and the businesses you use. We are the controller of your PerksClub account. When you redeem or engage with a perk from a business, we share the data needed to make that work with that business — and the business then handles your data as its own controller, under its own privacy policy. This policy covers what we do with your data.
1. Who we are
Trizbit Private Limited (incorporated in India), operating as PerksClub, controls your PerksClub account data. Contact us about privacy, your rights, or any grievance at legal@perksclub.tech — also our grievance / data-protection contact.
2. What we collect
We collect the categories of personal data below. Not all apply to everyone — some depend on how you use PerksClub — and the specific data may grow as we add features, but it stays within these categories and the purposes in §3:
- Identity & contact — name, email, phone, username, and profile details you provide.
- Account & preferences — your settings, interests, favourites, and language.
- Perks & activity — the perks, rewards, coupons, and offers you view, save, and redeem, and your redemption history; and, where you join a program a business runs (such as a referral program), your participation data — such as program codes and links assigned to you, your participation counts, and the benefits you earn.
- Location — approximate location (from your IP) and precise/GPS location where you enable it (e.g., nearby offers or in-store redemption).
- Device & technical — IP address, device/browser type, operating system, device and advertising identifiers, language, and time zone.
- Usage & diagnostics — the features and pages you use, actions you take, and log/diagnostic data.
- Camera & device permissions — e.g., QR scanning and camera where a feature uses it, and notifications.
- Communications & support — messages, support requests, feedback, reviews, ratings, and survey responses.
- Marketing & preferences — your contact preferences and how you engage with our messages and ads.
- Payment — if you ever pay for a feature, billing details and transaction records (card payments are handled by our payment providers; we don't store full card numbers). Payments to a business for its products are handled by that business.
- Connected accounts — single sign-on or social login you use to join.
- Inferences — segments and preferences we derive to personalise the service.
- Cookies & similar technologies — see §10.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
- Provide, operate, and secure your account and let you find and redeem perks — performance of our contract with you.
- Authenticate you and prevent fraud/abuse — legitimate interests (security).
- Support and respond to your requests — contract / legitimate interests.
- Personalise and improve the service, and recommend perks — legitimate interests and/or your consent (where required).
- Marketing, advertising, and measurement — legitimate interests and/or your consent (where required).
- Run rewards and loyalty features (see §11) — contract / consent.
- Keep legally-required records (including consent) and comply with law — legal obligation / defending legal claims.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it anytime.
4. Who we share it with
We may share your data with:
- Businesses whose perks you use — when you save, redeem, or engage with a perk, we share the data needed to provide it (such as the redemption and enough to identify you to that business). The business then handles your data as its own controller, under its own privacy policy. If you take part in a program a business runs, that business also receives your activity in that program — for a referral program, for example, this includes that you referred a particular customer, or were referred by one.
- Service providers / sub-processors — hosting, email/SMS delivery, authentication, payments, customer support, and analytics.
- Advertising, marketing & analytics partners — including platforms such as Meta and Google — for marketing, advertising, retargeting, measurement, and analytics (this may involve sharing identifiers or letting them set cookies/pixels).
- Integrations you connect, authorities (where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity), in a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or asset sale, under the same protections), and anyone else with your consent or at your direction.
Some sharing with advertising partners for cross-context advertising may be considered "selling" or "sharing" under certain laws (e.g., California). You can opt out — see §9 (California) or contact legal@perksclub.tech.
5. International data transfers
We use cloud infrastructure to store and process data currently in the United States and India, and may process it in other regions (such as the EU) as we expand, or via our service providers. Because we operate globally, your data may be transferred across borders — including to countries whose data-protection laws differ from yours. When it is, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms).
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is active. When you close your account or your relationship with PerksClub ends, we delete or anonymise operational data — except records we must keep for legal reasons, notably consent records, retained up to 7 years from the end of the relationship, then deleted. If you ask us to erase your data, we honour it except where law requires us to keep specific records.
7. How we protect it
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and stricter separation for consent/identity records. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and regulators of incidents where required.
8. Your rights
Subject to your local law, you can access, correct, erase, restrict/object to, or port your data; withdraw consent where we rely on it; and complain to a data-protection authority. To exercise any of these, contact legal@perksclub.tech or use your account settings. We won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
9. Region-specific rights
EEA / UK. We process on the legal bases in §3; you may complain to your local supervisory authority; transfers use the §5 safeguards. If we ever make a decision about you by solely-automated means with legal or similarly significant effect, you can request human review.
India. You have rights of access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal (contact our Grievance Officer at legal@perksclub.tech), and to nominate another person to exercise your rights; you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
California. You have rights to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context advertising — to opt out, contact legal@perksclub.tech or use our privacy controls. If we offer rewards or loyalty features that count as a financial incentive, see §11. You won't be discriminated against for exercising these rights (beyond any difference reasonably related to a reward you choose — see §11).
Everywhere else. We honour the data-protection rights available under your local law — just contact us.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand and improve usage, and for advertising and measurement (including partners such as Meta and Google). You can control these — where required, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential (e.g., advertising/analytics) cookies, and you can change your choices anytime. Some cookies are necessary for the service to work.
11. Rewards and loyalty features
PerksClub is about perks and rewards. Businesses on PerksClub may run programs or offers that provide you benefits — such as offers, discounts, or rewards — connected to your participation and your data. Those benefits come from the business, not from PerksClub — the business sets its program's terms and is responsible for honouring them (see our Terms of Service), and it handles your data in its program as its own controller, under its own privacy policy (see §4). We may also offer platform features of this kind ourselves. Under some laws (such as California's), such programs can be a "financial incentive."
A benefit's value may be fixed or may vary based on a program's terms — for example, on your activity or level of participation. A program's terms or rewards may change over time, with effect going forward — changes don't take away benefits you've already earned. The specific benefits and terms are shown where the program is offered.
Participation is voluntary, you can opt out or withdraw at any time (contact legal@perksclub.tech, use your settings, or simply stop participating), and — for anything we offer — any difference in what you receive is reasonably related to the value of your data to us. We don't assign a specific monetary value to your data; a benefit's value reflects the program's terms and a reasonable, good-faith estimate of how your participation relates to that value.
12. Children
PerksClub is for adults (at least 18, or the age of majority where you live). It is not intended for children, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If we learn we've collected a child's data, we delete it. If you think a child has given us data, contact legal@perksclub.tech.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. On a material change we publish a new version and — because acceptance is version-tracked — you'll be asked to review and accept the current version before continuing to use PerksClub. The date and version at the top show the latest.
14. Contact and complaints
Questions, requests, or grievances: legal@perksclub.tech. You may also complain to your local authority — in India, the Data Protection Board of India; in the EEA/UK, your local supervisory authority.
